The Hard (Plastic) Truth -> http://bit.ly/1aszPvq

The Chemical Bisphenol

A (BPA), which is used to harden plastic, can mimic oestrogen and has been linked to obesity, diabetes, heart disease, cancer, and behavioural issues. but your stockpile of BPA - free products may not be totally safe for your either, reports a study from University of California at Davis. Ugh!

Researchers tested  18 BPA - free cups and found that nearly all of them contained synthetic oestrogens. Translation: The chemicals used to replace BPA may also leach into our food and drink and produce hormone - like effects. Your safest bet is glass or stainless-steel storage containers.

Heat increases the helath risk - Always hand-wash plastic.
