Kaia Gerber would be just like any other teen on Instagram if not for two things. The first is that while she may only be 14, she’s rapidly becoming a model to watch out for and already has some big-name gigs under her belt. And that leads us neatly into the second point: Kaia can take modeling tips from none other than her mom, ’90s glamazon Cindy Crawford. Perhaps these things in part explain why the teen now has an incredible 247,000 Instagram followers and counting – but there are definitely many more reasons why you should be among their number.

That’s a fact that her mother happily revealed to the entire world, proving in the process that even the coolest and most successful moms can be super-embarrassing.

After the Young Versace shoot in 2012, the fashion designer said of Kaia, “Like her mother, Kaia has a very special gift. The camera really, really loves her.” We’d have to agree.
