Filipina leukemia victim buried in Saudi flight uniform

Stewardess asked family to bury her in uniform

A Filipina stewardess in Saudi Arabia’s official airlines Saudia was buried in her flight uniform in the Philippines in line with her wish after she died of leukemia.
Joy Fernandis requested her family to bury her in the Saudia uniform because she loved her job with the airline, a Saudia official said.
“Goodbye Joy,” Saudia’s assistant general manager for public relations Abdul Rahman Al Fahd said on his Twitter page, according to ‘Ajel’ newspaper.
“Joy died of leukemia. Before her death, she asked her family to bury her in the Saudia uniform because she loved her job. This is very impressive loyalty.”
