The The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has officially announced that the 196th Annual General Conference will be held during the Easter weekend. In a letter from the First Presidency, church leaders invited members, families, and friends around the world to join the global gathering to hear messages centered on the gospel of Jesus Christ.
During the conference, the First Presidency, the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, and other General Authorities will share guidance, inspiration, and counsel for members of the Church. The sessions will take place on Saturday, April 4, and Easter Sunday, April 5, and are open to everyone who wishes to listen and participate.
General Conference is considered a sacred opportunity for personal reflection, revelation, and spiritual growth as members are encouraged to listen, study, and apply the teachings shared by Church leaders.
