The social networking site LinkedIn has revealed that an article by the UAE Prime Minister about the country's new happiness and tolerance ministers has been viewed almost 500,000 times - with the figure still rising.


HH Sheik Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, penned the piece in the form of a letter for the business website.

It followed the appointment of Shamma Bint Suhail, Minister of Youth, and Ohoud Bint Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister of Happiness.

UAE news agency WAM said the most recent post by Sheik Mohammed presented to readers the UAE leadership rationale for introducing four new Ministries. Given the position of the UAE as an oasis of tolerance, modernity, and progress in the Arab world, these new ministerial berths represent the Government's initiative to build channels of communication and engagement with the strongest force in the UAE - the youth. 

According to LinkedIn data, his recent post, title 'Why Miniters for Happiness, Tolerance, Youth and the Future?' is on the top three most engaging post globally from a political figure on LinkedIn's Infuence plat form. In addition, it is currently one of the 10 fastest growing influencer blog posts globally in terms of engagement, on LinkedIn.
