A new poll by Comparably found that one-in-four women experience some form of harassment, from lewd jokes, whistling, sexual gestures and unwanted touching to sending or displaying sexually inappropriate images or videos with co-working, in the tech field.

It's a reality that as many as 8 percents of white women experience. Women of color, however, face sexual harassment in greater numbers. Twelve percent of Latinas said they have been sexually harassed at work, while 14 percent of Black women and 22 percent of Native American reported experiencing intimidation.
The city with the highest rate of sexual harassment is Los Angeles, which boasts a large Latinx population. There, 15 percent of employees report some form of prosecution.
Pollsters surveyed 5 thousand people in the tech industry.
