What Is The Right Position To Sleep For Fach Of These Health Problems?


Sleeping has an enormous influence on the functionality of the body. In depend of the age of the being, humans need about 8-9 hours sleeping time, in order to function normally.



Besides getting enough sleep, it is also important the sleeping position we take.

The sleeping position can influence positively on many medical conditions such as blood pressure, sinus infections, headache, back and shoulder pain etc.

Learn which sleeping position is good for which medical issues:
1. Shoulder Pain

If you are experiencing shoulder pain, you should sleep on the side that you don’t feel pain with your legs slightly bent.

It is recommendable to “hug” a pillow to your chest and place another pillow between your knees.

2. Back Pain

For this type of pain, it is recommendable to lay on the back and place a pillow under your knees as well as rolled-up towel under the curve of the back.

3. Headaches

According to some researchers, some of the daily headaches you feel can be the result of the twisted neck during sleeping.

So, in order to prevent your head from turning, thus prevent a headache, surround your head with pillows.

4. Sinus Trouble

According to Harvard Medical School, in order to prevent the mucus to spill in the sinuses, you should sleep with an elevated head.

5. Hypertension

The researchers of the Ehime University School of Medicine showed that sleeping with your face down can decrease the high blood pressure.

Still, is recommendable to consult with your doctor first.

6. PMS Pain

Put a pillow under your knees to prevent bending of your spine. This will relief your PMS symptoms.

7. Neck Pain

Add some additional neck support if you feel neck pain. It is recommended to take a small rolled-up towel and put it under the neck or under your pillowcase.

8. Digestion Trouble

Sleeping on the left side can significantly enhance your digestion. The gravity will do everything.

9. Heartburn

This medical issue can be very uncomfortable and to disturbs your sleep. Sleep on the left side can if you are suffering from heartburn.
