It’s more than reasonable to assume Acosta does NOT want Trump to be reelected in 2020.
But this week Acosta inadvertently helped Trump’s reelection in a major way.
The American voter chooses a political candidate based primarily on his or her promises. The more promises a candidate manages to keep once in office, the better chance he or she has to be reelected.
In a tweet to his Twitter followers, Acosta confirmed that Trump has been keeping promises like no president before him:
“Obama policies dumped by Trump: Iran deal, Paris Climate Agreement, Trans-Pacific Trade Deal, DACA, Obamacare Individual Mandate,” lamented Acosta.
So thanks, Jim, for making sure every potential Trump voter out there knows full well that this is a president who keeps his word. And his promises to overturn those policies are precisely why half of America voted for Trump.
