Filipina tennis sensation Alexandra Eala once again showed why she is becoming one of the most exciting players to watch on the WTA Tour.
In a match filled with momentum swings, pressure and emotion, Eala battled past American Caty McNally, 6-3, 5-7, 6-4, after an exhausting 2 hours and 39 minutes at the National Bank Open in Toronto.
A Victory Built on Fighting Spirit
Eala started strongly, taking the opening set 6-3, but McNally refused to disappear. The American fought back to capture the second set 7-5 and force a deciding third.
