The Tamad Girl's Workout

Saying "I don't have time" is a terrible reason not to exercise.



No more excuses, CGs. These exercises are so easy to do, you’ll hardly feel like you’re working out at all. You don’t even have to leave your house (or your room!) to do them. P.S. You'll finally get to check off that 2015 resolution to exercise more!

1. Sitting wall squat





What you’ll need: A wall to lean on.
Where you can do it: Any room with walls.
How to multitask: Read a magazine.

2. Reqular squats



What you’ll need: Any heavy object, like a cookie jar.
Where you can do it: In the kitchen—train your brain to resist temptation!
How to multitask: Do your squats while waiting for your food to cook.


3. Planks



What you’ll need: A mat (for extra cushion).
Where you can do it: In your bedroom, first thing in the morning.
How to multitask: Read or sing along to your favorite song to wake you up.

4. Elevated Split Squats


What you’ll need: A chair.
Where you can do it: In your living room.
How to multitask: People-watch from your window.

5. Chair dips




What you’ll need: A chair.
Where you can do it: In your bathroom or dining room.
How to multitask: Facetime or Skype with your boyfriend or best friend

6. Side lunges with weights



What you’ll need: Any heavy object, like a cookie jar.
Where you can do it: In your TV room.
How to multitask: Watch a movie.

7. Side to side crunches with weights



What you’ll need: Any heavy object, like a cookie jar.
Where you can do it: In your bedroom or TV room.
How to multitask: Don't! This one might require a little more concentration.

8. Kickbacks



What you’ll need: A mat (for extra cushion).
Where you can do it: In your living room.
How to multitask: Use your laptop/tablet.

9. Elevated pushups



What you’ll need: A tabletop or kitchen counter.
Where you can do it: In your kitchen or dining room.
How to multitask: Time it while you heat something up in the microwave.

10. Single-leg chair squats



What you’ll need: A chair.
Where you can do it: In your dining room.
How to multitask: Contemplate the deeper meaning of life.

11. Arm resistance



What you’ll need: A resistance band (Available in Toby’s, Planet Sports, and other sporting stores).
Where you can do it: Anywhere around your house.
How to multitask: Do it while watching your favorite TV show.

12. Deadlifts


















What you’ll need: Any heavy object, like a cookie jar.
Where you can do it: In your kitchen.
How to multitask: Invite a friend over and make kwento (Story) while you exercise. Or better yet, ask your friend to exercise with you.
