The Haiku Stairs, or better known as the Stairway to Heaven is on the Island of Oahu in Hawaii. This is one of the absolute coolest hikes I have ever done. And it's so incredibly unfortunate that it is illegal. When I heard that there were plans to remove the stairs entirely from the mountain, I was disappointed. Hopefully Hawaii wont allow this to happen. And the stairs will be allowed to reopen to the public instead.
