DIFFERENT DIETS TO TAKE BACK YOUR HEALTH

MENUS FOR LIFE

Smoothie Recipes

Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie Bowl

Smoothies don't just come in cups anymore. This one from Bakerita.com will allow you to finally fill your bowl with something other than soup or cereal. This is definitely a kid-friendly recipe too. Serve to the kids in your life or to your own inner-child. Both with thank you.

Head on over to Bakerita.com to get the recipe.

Paleo Peach Coconut Smoothie

CookEatPaleo.com has created the perfect summer smoothie for us. It's best to use with fresh peaches if you can get them and it addition to the peach and coconut it has just a hint of lemon zest. This one can be whipped up very quickly and you can enjoy it pool-side or even take it in a mason jar with you to work (where you can sip it and wish that you were pool-side, or anywhere else really).

Grab the recipe from CookEatPaleo!

Immunity Boosting Triple Berry Kiwi Smoothie

Take a look at this beautiful smoothie from theprettybee.com. It's got a ton of vitamin C and antioxidants and the creator says it's a great way to boost your immune system in cold winter months. But I think it looks like a wonderful summer smoothie as well and it's great if you can get the ingredients in season!

Many thanks to theprettybee for whipping this one up for us!

Post Workout Green Smoothie

Ok, a little secret here. I don't only drink this post-workout. It's pretty delicious any time. Another little secret. Sometimes I buy greens and kind of don't use them before they go bad. Final secret, I'm really lazy so I buy everything pre-washing. Whew! Feels good to get that off my chest. But, there is actually a point to those disclosures. I throw my pre-washed greens right into the freezer before they are going to expire, and I've not "lost" any since I realized I could do that. Takes no effort on my part and they are already nice and cold for a green smoothie recipe like this one from gimmesomeoven.com.
